RYL Patchwork Quilt - LAST DAY TOMORROW!
 

A brand new thread for a brand new RYL :)

This is going to be a crazy patchwork,
that means patch sizing can vary and can be as bright, bold and different as you like!



There are two options if you would like help:-


Send fabric/beads/ribbons etc on there own-
If you're not very good at sewing, or dont have the time then you can still be a part by doing this :)

Or


Make a patch!

Patch requirements:

Patches can now be any size up to 7" by 7"
With a 1/4" border all the way around. This should be plain, its for me to attach the other patches!


Whatever you choose to do, once you are finished, pm me and I will give you my address :)




Chelsea's foolproof guide to patch making:-


1) Get your Dad/Mum/trustworthy adult to cut you a peice of material to the right size.
2) Get glue and ribbons, sequins, felt, foam, bubble wrap, 3D art glue, and go crazy.
3) Send it to Aimee.

ooh! I have some nomex I could use! (its a fire resistant coth that is used in race car drivers clothes and parachute covers and such)

This may be a silly question, but when you say a 1/4 border, does that mean that bit has to be just plain, so really it's like a 7 x 7 patch with that extra bit purely for attaching other patches to it, ooor is it like a funky decorative border, so it's effectively a 7 1/4 x 7 1/4 patch? I hope that makes sense..

No the border is plain, its how im going to attach the other patches. Not a silly question at all- 'tis a good point, I shall make it more clear :)
