The following content has been hidden - Reason : spoiler
jess, pratt was in an ambulance that blew up...i think from a bomb(but cant remember, that happen last yr) you thought he was ok, but then they had to intubate and they couldnt do it so had to try something else and this cause an air embolism and this huge thing came out on his neck which then bled dramatically-somthing to do with the carotid artery...was crying too much to pay attention....then basically his heart and brain became oxygen starved and he died....very emotional

I could never get into ER. But I tuned in one time and saw a bunch of schoolgirls beating a naked man to death with some tennis racquets and bags.

I thought "Hey, this might not be too bad after all" But then it went all boring and I started watching All Saints.

I've been a faithful watcher of ER since it first aired in 1994. The episode you are talking about, I saw back in September.

snowy_owl 13-01-2009 01:01 AM

Yep I have seen that ep, and it was very sad.

I have seen all the episodes in this series so far, actually. And they get sadder, but there are also some really great moments. There's a particularly good ep where Drs. Green, Romano, and Weaver (and also Jerry) return!

Some of the episodes should still be up on hulu.com if you want to catch up on 'em there.

looking forward to the rest of the series and i will make sure that i have a box of tissues ready and waiting while i watch :) xx

I love ER, so sad it's the last series :( does anyone know if and when channel 4 will be showing it or am I going to have to watch the whole series on the internet via catchup?
I cried so much during the first episode so sad!

Mrs Sam 20-01-2009 07:28 PM

Yeah that first episode was a real tear jerker, especially the bit where Pratt was crying, i was crying my eyes out! I never cry at stuff like that!

Leo Pard 21-01-2009 02:43 PM

I loved how Romana had his arm cut off by a helicopter and then got crushed to death by one...
After losing your arm to one would you not think to stay away from helicopters as they blatently had a vendetta againsed you?
