Reasons to live
 

I hope this is okay to post here but on v2 there is a 'your reasons for living' thread and i think it might be nice to have one here too to look at if you're struggling.
Please add your reason.

• My mom
• My cats
• My friends
• To prove my dad wrong

~ There is always hope.

~ I am a good person, intelligent, articulate and compassionate.
What I learn from my own process of recovery can help others.

~ My therapist, GP, Befriender, friends, parents and work colleagues care about me and want me to live my life as much to the full as I can.

~ I want to be able to complete training as a therapist at some point in the near future.

~ I have survived some pretty awful things, and I'm still here!

~ I want a partner some day.

To look after my cat.

the way my mum said 'what?' when i said i just wanted to go to sleep forever and not wake up. good thing i didnt say any more!

-Because someone has to look after my pony and doggie - also someone needs to care for evil pony at work, and no-one else will go near him!!
-Because I want to get my grade 8 on at least 1 instrument.
-My dream of becoming a music teacher.
-For the few people who are trying to help me.

Because life should be about living and living it to the full.
Because of all the times I have laughed and cried, the thing's I have experienced and thing's I have achieved, since i hit rock bottom 4 year's ago.

3. The fact, that I promised myself I would never do the same thing my cousin did to me.

9. Unresolved fights.
10. My mom, sister, aunt.
11. To prove to everyone, that I am stronger than they believe.
12. To prove to myself, that I am stronger than Ally.
13. Movies I havne't seen.
14. Snow and Rain.
15. Storms that I have to play in.
Alot more.

Life, life in it's fullness. You never know what's coming next, you never know what's just round the corner. There is always hope. Life is rich and vibrant and exciting and it's there. And I wouldn't miss out on any of it for the world.

*The possibility of tomorrow, and that it'll be a better day.
*Caring for my turtles, they are so high maintenance.
* Books I haven't read, movies I haven't seen, albums that haven't come out yet.
* My friends, and the fun we have together.

Things can't possibly stay like this forever.

Because deep down I know that things change, things get better, and suicide breaks too many peoples hearts.

& If I'm going to turn into a statistic, I want it to relate to chocolate eating contests, or something cool.

4. to reach 18
5. to do work experience in france this summer
6. because i went through chemo so i shouldn't give up now
7. so that my exams haven't been a waste of time

Going travelling next year with the most amazing person ever,
I've just finished uni and have the rest of my life in front of me and I don't believe it can all be bad!
