Headache type things.
Erm, so I've been getting really bad headaches recently. Well, recently is probably since around march, maybe april? I got put on the pill (microgyon or something like that) around febuary, and they said that migranes were a side effect, but these aren't migranes.
It's like really intense earache, that spreads to my head and my eyes, then accross my forehead and down my neck. As I type my left eye is watering and my head hurts like loads of pressure is built up inside it. When they get bad it's down both sides of my head/ear area and across my forhead. They seem to affect each side of my head the same amount but at different times (like now is the left, but a week ago it was the right). Any ideas what's causing this? It's not dehydration, as I got them when I was studying and was drinking 3+ litres of water a day then, it's not sitting in front of a screen because I'm working all day and not been on the computer all day. Oh, and I was in a car crash around march, but i dont think it's anyting to do with that. Help appreciated, I can't get to the docs for at least a week and they're driving me crazy! |
Has anything you've done made them better or worse? (Such as taking parcematol) Do they affect your vision, balance, or make you feel nauseous? Does light hurt your eyes when they happen?
are you taking other meds then the birth control (you can PM me this bit) AD |
could it not be stress? you say you got them round your exams yes? and i bet your pretty stressed right now. so maybe its tension headaches.
i used to be on microgynon but they gave me week long headaches around my periods so i changed over. *hugses* xxx |
Can you see a dr at your hospital? Migraines are terrible things, ive had one all day and its only just gone.

Hmmm could be a sinus infection, too. Get it checked out, I'd say. There are pretty effective meds for migraines/headaches.

I'm thinking either sinus infection or some terrible stress headache - I used to get them a lot.
Best to get it checked out asap xxx |
Maybe a trapped nerve? If you had a car crash, or just a combination of both.definalty go to a doc tho.

Most definitely get checked out. I always worry when headaches happen after car crashes since a car crash is what had caused my mother's brain tumor which caused horrible migraines for her.
It could just be a very bad reaction to what you're taking but it's better to be safe rather than sorry. |
