chest ache.. any insight plse

for a fewdays have had annoying ache in my chest. it is generally bearable but occasionally it gets quite painful. this sounds wierd but can feel my heart beating which is not normal for me.... sorta scared this is something mroe serious.
the ache tends to move all over top of chest although tis hard to pinpoint.
not done any exercise tht would strain the muscles at all.
any ideas????

Is there anything which makes the pain better or worse?
Have you recently changed your medication?
Do you eat an adequate diet?

Bookworm3009 03-07-2007 11:07 PM

Have you just recently started increasing your cal intake? Have you been diagnosed ED? What is your BMI? Have you been diagnosed with any medical problems? Do you have any symptoms besides the chest ache?

Aidee 03-07-2007 11:20 PM

Have you had a fever, cough, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea?

Thanks for posting this Rachel :-) Better safe then sorry. Hope it gets better xxx.

It sounds like you may have either bronchitis or punemonia, both of which need to be seen by a doctor. I know going to the doctors can be scary, but you needent even mention anything but the chest ache, difficulty breathing and the other stuff you told me.

really dont feel well, shakey, pancking and light headed

Bitter_Angel 04-07-2007 12:07 AM

Please try to stay calm.
Do you know the number for the out of hours doctor?
If not ring your GP, the number should be on there. Ring them and tell them you symptoms.
Your other option would be to go to A&E. This sounds like it needs to be treated sooner rather than later.

parents will find out something up, cant du tht

Bitter_Angel 04-07-2007 12:11 AM

Tell your parents there is something up!!
This is not something that you have caused. This is an illness just like a cold would be or a chest infection. If your not well, you need help. Your parents should be supportive of that.
