Messing with my meds

They seem to keep changing what times I have my meds, they have taken off my midday Diazipam and now I get aggitated and anxious. I get anxious if anything changes without me knowing and I just feel so low. I cut last night I they have taken my impliment away. I have no release and talking to staff is not working.

Sorry just wanted to say something to someone.

hey...
maybe you could try discussing how you feel with your doctor... tell them how low you've got and that you think they have made the wrong dissision about stopping your diazipan during the day...

i know how you feel... i got my middays taken away there last week and it doesnt feel the same... i get anxious and nervous for no apparent reason and my thoughts are really bad so i completly sypathise with how your feeling...

sorry im not much use...

Have you asked them why you have changed your med times? Maybe if you could explain, either verbally or in writing how it is effecting you they will be able to help? I am sorry you felt you needed to SI last night, I hope you start feeling better soon x

I'n under a section the nurse is going to call the doctor tomorrow to see if I can be put back to three times a day. I have nothing in theis damn hospital to cut with tonight and I so desperately want that release again. I lost a pint last night, another tonight and I could have my anaemia back and the feeling of being i'll. My named nurse (male nurse) thinks I have a bit of Munchausen Syndrome as I make myself ill.

I'm glad you were able to tell the Nurse and they will speak with the Doctor tomorrow. I think often in hospital they try to reduce the need for medication such as diazepam because it's so addictive, so that could be why you were taken off it. However, you've tried without it and have found it has made a big difference and not helped you so it's definitely worth letting the Doctor know this.
You are doing really well Aly. Keep fighting, I know it sucks to be on a section. I just hope it's helping you in some ways, or at least beginning to help you.
Lotti x
