Nothing has changed =\
I had an assessment today, which ruled out pretty much everything except anxiety. So the nurse gave me some information on anxiety (which to be quite honest, isn't all that informative...) and said she'd refer me to someone else who deals with anxiety. This basically means that I'm not getting any treatment, despite feeling like a total mess at the moment.
I don't quite know what the purpose of this post is.. I've just kind of lost hope for ever getting any better, I guess. |
can you be reffered for a second opinion?
keep talking to your gp. its taken me three years to even get near a "possible" diagnoses which basically means they have an idea but wont say what and are going to send me for yet another assesment. keep goling out hun. you WILL get answers in the end but it may take a while |
But doesn't being referred on to someone for your anxiety mean you are going to be getting treatment? At least that's what I would assume if someone told me that.
Hang on in there and see what this referral turns up. Don't lose hope of getting better, anxiety is a very treatable condition with both therapy and medication. And it will take time, but things will improve in the end. I'm glad everything else was ruled out for you though, that's at least one real positive. xxx |
Well it does mean I'll get treatment, but I'll be put on yet another waiting list =[ I feel like I need support at the moment, but I have to wait for everything all the time. I know that sounds selfish because there are people who are way worse off than me.. but still.
