Has anyone noticed?
 

I don't know if it's just me, but have you noticed that a lot of people are doing really badly recently. Not even just on here, but in real life. A lot of my friends are really struggling with many different things. On here a lot of people are having problems.
Has anyone else noticed this where they are?
And also that on here, once several threads have been started about doing well a whole bunch are. Like for a couple weeks almost ebery single thread was positive even in serious.
I think we need to have a world wide happy party to make everyone less sad!!!

It is a stressful time of year-
the credit crunch has effected many people very badly
people have recently started uni/ college which is very stressful
and with christmas looming which is a difficult time for many people i know adds more stress to the time of year

Also as winter draws in the nights get colder and longer nd that can affect a lot of people's moods.

Uni = stress.
It's FREAKIN' COLD = stress.
Having to go home for Christmas = STRESS.

what a good idea.
I'm not happy due to the credit crunch but usually im not happy much anyways..but it's probably things like that and the weather being cold and yuk.
We need some sun back into our lives.

I think it's probably a mixture of people being effected by starting Uni, the credit crunch and being near christmas and if you aren't effected by that more than likely someone in your household is and it rubs off on you.
Those things plus individual personal problems makes it seem as if everyones having a bad time and they most likely are.
It definitely does seem like an awful lot of people are having a bad time.
It's very disheartening :-(

Yeah I've noticed this with my friends, all of a sudden they are all turning into stressed out, unhappy people! it sucks really

Ugh, it's true. Can I join in the party? Everything's getting just a bit too much and silly shiny hats and plastic plates would make everything a lot more fun and easy.

the financial crisis.

Yeah, the coldness is definitely a smidge depressing.

Plus, people who go to uni might be experiencing not only academic stress but also drama because of friends or relationships.

Snow means snow man making and snow angels and walks in the forest with my Dad in the twilight<3
school stress is sucky though...

And on the other side of the world. we have exams and stuff which is where our stres comes from.

Yeah I've been noticing that too. School stress is annoying and with my friends there seems to be more petty arguments than usual.
