Couples, Dating, Self-Esteem?

How do people find each other? I feel simply inadequate and unworthy of someone else...Surely this is not normal? My self-esteem is non-existant...and I need constant reassurance by those that choose to be with me or spend time with me...As in, I don't understand why they would want to spend time with me...I don't even like spending time with me.

The whole idea of being with someone terrifies me and boggles my mind. I can't see it. I can't see why I would be worth it. It's not that I can't commit - I am very loyal - I just feel inadequate.

Can anyone else relate?

:notsure:

*hugs* Yes...I can relate. A lot.

I can relate and in my experience it can make relationships very difficult because I don't see why anyone would like me, don't see why they spend time with me and why they wouldn't cheat on me.
However, people wouldn't talk to you or be around you if they didn't want to be. You wouldn't spend time with someone who wasn't worth spending time with, and neither would they. People don't like wasting their time, so if they're talking to you then you are worth being with.
Hope that made some kind of sense.. xx
