My interview
Well, the interview was yesterday, and I doubt I've got the job, but that's really not a bad thing. I'd have been working from about 11am to 9pm knocking on doors asking for donations to St Johns Ambulance, free accommodation thrown in with the hob. Now if you wanted to sign up, you had to make a minimum donation of £40 a year, you either paid yearly, every 2 months or every 6 months. I'd have to have made £780 and sign up 25 people a day or I'd have to give the company £50 a week in accommodation fees, and it was a commission only job. So if I didn't make enough money and get enough donators I'd be paying them! Not to mention having to chip in with travel expenses and buy my own food. Plus they didn't like that my ankle gets very stiff in cold weather forcing me to limp.
So it's back to the job hunting! |
*Hugs* By the sounds of it wasn't something you were that interested in anyways, I am sure there will be better things out there. Best of luck with the job hunting

Oh yea those kind of jobs suck. My ex did a similar thing for 3 weeks (though it was selling N Power crap) and they were making go to Bournemouth every day (from southampton) which cost him £10 a day, and he got sales and stuff but they ended up paying him £30. He quit after that :P
So you are better off really. Have you tried temp agencies? |
I'm with quite a few temp agencies. I've not had much luck with them though.

keep your fingers crossed and keep trying. I know how hard it is to find a job. but when you finally find work it'll feel sooooooooo good.
