.. the order of members online at the bottom of the page was about? I remember a discussion with Harley on v2 (i think :S) about what the order was, but he didn't tell us :P.

I remember it being all technical and long winded about appearing random but not actually being random. I think it was to do with a random number our usernames were assigned when we signed up.

I know i wasn't around on V2 but i think i know what you mean. When you click a person's profile in the URL of their profile the number at the end changes. e.g. Mine seemingly is 9449 (yes, i know it off-by-heart :-P), and then that changes to say yours which is 73. Basically, i presume the 'u=' stands for user number. Is that what you meant?

p.s.
It's fun typing in random numbers into the user thingy, hence how i first figured it out, or at least i think i have. *keeps stum about what else i presume* :-D
