Petition for BBC, C4 and Gordon Brown!
 

Hey people! =]

So here goes, ...howl and I [along with lots more, im sure] think that self harm is still to much of a taboo topic when it comes to education in schools and the general public.
So, with our combined brain power, we managed to come up with the idea of a petition. Were hoping to get as many people to sign this petition as possible, agreeing that self-harm needs more awareness raised. Then, of course when sucessful, to personally hand into Gordon Brown [as new PM].
Hopefully this can be the starting point to get self-harm into P.S.H.E lessons at schools, educate more people and have programs and documentaries like 'The Cutting Club' aired more frequently.

Were hoping this might help to get the message about self harm across to those unaware and educate the public.

would also just like to say how great this idea is, iv been thinking about this so much recently, its pretty frustrating how its such a big thing now but everyone is just too scared to talk about it

I just want to say that I think this is an awesome idea. I wish Self Harm had been part of my PSE lessons, it would probably have helped me to be more confident to ask for help. <3
