oh God what do i do?
i just cut my arm. Its the first time i've done it since my parents found out. They said the next time i cut i would go back to the hospital. i can't start wearing long sleeves again because they will be suspicious. and i don't have anything to cover my arm!!
what do i do? If they see my arm it will be all over. |
*hugs*
take a deep breath babe. it wont be all over. even if you do go to the hospital. I am sorry you are having such a rough time right now. i am here if you want to talk. sorry i dont have any suggestions about hiding it. |
Is it on a spot on your arm that you could hide it with a sweatband or bracelets or something? Sorry, I don't have much advice.
I'm sorry that everything is so bad right now, do you want to talk about what it was that made you cut in the first place? |
*hugs* calm down first
ok, so it was a slight slip up, you need it in recovary to learn from, dont go back into the cycle im sure if your parents found out and you explained it to them then they might not take you to hospital PM anytime Caz x |
Well It's not so much about going to the hospital that bothers me as much as everybodies reaction if they found out. It's been months since my parents and i have had a problem with this and my mom still hasn't gotten over it yet. She is still giving me a hard time about it.
In fact it was my mom and i arguing that triggered me. |
I have no idea how you dress but something I used to do was make 'sleeves' out of tights by cutting the feet and body bit off. It looks unusual enough that it looks like you're making a fashion statement and it looks ok with the right tops, and you can make it habitual enough that people don't automatically associate it with concealment. Might be an option?
EDIT: On second thoughts, since you don't appear to favour the emo fashion AT ALL, this might be harder to pull off as a guy...sorry :( Sweatbands, I think it's been suggested? |
I'm sorry that you fought with your mom... I hate it when that happens. It's hard for parents tho, to know that their child is harming, so don't be to hard on your mom for not getting over it yet, it's a tough thing to come to terms with, (kinda why i haven't told mine yet *hides*)

Oh well. Right now i'm just trying to use that arm as little as possible and hope no one notices. |
How are you feeling now? Sweatbands have saved me on lots of occasions so maybe try them.
The tights thing is a really cool idea :) |
I'm alright, just paranoid.
