1 Year SI Free
 

Yes, i'm 1 year free today and don't see myself going back to SI unless something very serious happens. It doesn't feel so great to be one year free but that's only because I don't consider myself to have a problem with SI any more.

I used to SI multiple times a day and slipped up a lot during recovery. The most i've ever gone without SI before was five months. There is hope out there, for everyone. You can live without SI. Take care.

one year is such an achievement. i don't think you should do yourself down because you don't have many urges anymore. it just means you're learning ways to deal with feelings differently, and that's not easy, and it's something to be proud of.

do something nice for yourself, like buy a new top or bake yourself a cake to celebrate. xxx

Lifesdevil, I just take each day as it comes and remind myself that I don't want to go back to SI. I can't let go of all of these days free that I have achieved.

That is truly amazing.
