WTH HAVE DID I DO?!
I dont know what ive done to anybody. :crying: i never go out. i have no friends becaus ei never go out, i stay in my room ALL THE TIME. i just went out, i went to work with my mum. right, what i do, because i never go out, i need to go out somewhere just to keep myself sane, if u know what i mean. so i go to work with my mum, she goes into work, i cross the road and get thje bus back home. thats it. thats the only time i ever go out. since i was little, ive learnt that people dont like me, so i dont go out now. so i dont know what i have done. i was wearing a top that my grandad bought for me before he passed away. its a top that he bought back from Israel, it has the star of david on it and has the word Shalom on it. i wear it because i miss him and i dunno...it just makes me feel a bit better, y'know? i was minding my own buisness. i was waiting for the lights to change, they changed to red, i started to cross the road, halfway across the road the van that was waiting started to move, i walked faster and it sped up abit, i had to stop in the middle of the road to let it passed ON A RED LIGHT, as it went passed a man looked out, looked at my top, gave me a disgusted look and said 'you should be dead' then drove off. :crying: what the hell?! why did he say that to me?! what did i do?!

perhaps join a class of sme sort,
whether its at the local lesiure centre or college or voluntary work. that way you can get out of the house to do something you enjouy and meet new ppl. |
Some people are incredibley rude and horrible hun, YOU DID NOTHING WRONG! Ok? What was wrong was this man's judgement on someone he has never known. I know how horrible this can be hunny, but please don't put the blame of this on you, HE was the one in the wrong.
As for not going out, I agree that maybe a hobby or a class might help? Do you enjoy writting creative writting or art of some kind? Joining a class which interests you, or even volunteering can really help. I don't know about London, but in Scotland there is an organization called Volunteer Scotland where you can volunteer for various projects and help services. whether it be helping in disabled childrens liesure centers, going horse riding and helping with art projects, or helping out in vetterany places, the RSPCA or Cats Protection etc. Maybe if you would like to go to a class you could go and see your local CAB or careers center? They often have a lot of information about classes you can go to. I hope I helped a bit, take care of yourself Xxxx |
He has some misguided and prejudiced views. You did nothing wrong.

Omg how rude of that person in the van!!
How dare he say something like that. *hugs* please just try to ignore him, he is a waste of space who should not be worth your time. Some people are so nasty it disgusts me. I don't understand how the hell people can be so rude and sleep at night. I agree with the trying to join a class or something like that to help you, I know it will be hard at first, but you will get more comfortable with the class and people and hopefully meet some new friends too :] |
thank you for your replies...i have tried to join an art class before but i couldnt keep going because...i dunno...im scared of going out...i know thats stupid...i dunno what im scared of...i just dont like going out on my own...

Varjoissa, I am exactly like you. (Well, not really... but you can probably guess what I mean).
I hardly ever go out, and have no friends because of it, and I SI because I have no friends. Before I became agorophobic (social anxiety I guess) I had a job at my local bookshop, and I had friends. Now that's all been taken away from me, and it's not my fault. People HAVE said that it's my fault, that I must be mentally retarded to be scared of leaving my house (and cutting myself) and worse stuff as well. I know it's hard, but you have to push yourself. Even if it's a walk down the street and back to your house, or even just a walk to the front gate (assuming you have one) and back, at least it's something. :) |
ive tried, i have. coz i cant stand being in my room all day everyday. it just gets to the point where you start to think of the reasons to anything you do at all and thats not good...i went out today, like i said with my mum to her work, and i almost got run over by some creepy guy in a white van for no reason. the first thought in my head? 'im so fat i was probably in his way' 2nd 'i need to get home. now. fast.' so thats what i did. and im not going out again at all. not for anything. i cant. it'll happen again i know it will. i dont feel safe around here. too many things to watch out for...
