schizophrenia fading away

I'v had schizophrenia for about 2 years ever since i had a head injury. i'v got auditory, visual and tactile symptoms and they were pretty much the same for the whole time. There was this girl i have liked a lot for about 9 months and i never did anything about it coz of a previous relationship ending 'badly'. about 2 weeks ago i thought, screw that, ill ask her out and she said yes. ever since then the symptoms of my schizophrenia have slowly begun to fade. atm, they are still pretty bad, but not as bad as before. they seem to get slightly better every day. has anyone else ever had an experience like this or does anyone know y this is happening (not that im complaining)

Well, it seems like you would be in a good mood after asking her out, so maybe there's the connection? It might just be that simple. What does your doc think?

It seems strange to me anyway that you got schizophrenic after a head injury, I'm no dr but it seems more of a neurological problem than a mental health one to me...
