I took an overdose with alcohol just now.

My friend id rly worried. So i sed id post this for her.

I am on my 4th bacardi n coke. n ive taken some pain medication. am i ok?

i feel a bit out of it butothawise ok. i mean i am still here, still typin.

wat shuld i do?

You need to get to hospital ASAP.
Any amount of tablets during an overdose can cause you damage - you need to go get yourself checked over as soon as you can. Especially since you've taken them with Alcohol.
Your friend is right to be concerned. You need to get yourself checked out now, and please stop drinking hun.

I don't want to scare you, but alcohol amplifies the effects of an overdose.. it makes the pills stronger and work faster.

I can only echo what the others have said, you urgently need to get to hospital.
Is there anybody with you at the moment? Please tell them what you have done.

Both alcohol and the medication you took are processed in the liver, which can be damaged by what you have taken. You should go to the hospital to get checked out and see if they can give you the antidote to the medication you've taken. Liver damage occurs over a few days, so you may not feel sick right away, and by the time you do feel sick the damage is usually permanent.

I'm just talking with her on MSN, trying to get her to go to hospital.

She says she feels out of it, has had one more drink and is going to take more pills, but is adamant she is not going to go to hospital. She also is telling me her kidneys hurt....

I'm scared... I don't know what to do.

I advice you go and get yourself checked out especially as you feel ill and you sound like you need some emotional support. They will hopefully be able to help and make sure everything is ok. Though, if you don't want to I can't force you and I'll leave it here
