Isn't TWLOHA a religious thing?

I'd join if it wasn't religious, havent really looked into it though

Noo you don't have to be religious to join.

Q. Is TWLOHA a “Christian” organization?
A. We feel that the story (and the rest of this project) speaks for itself. Identifying something (such as a band, store, venue or project) as "Christian" often alienates those outside of the church/Christian culture, and we don't want to do that. TWLOHA aims to be inclusive and inviting. This is a project for all people. This is a project for broken people, and it is led by broken people.

TWLOHA may have religious undertones, but its not intending to convert people into little christian devotees.... Just because England used to be an imperial power doesn't mean that giving aid to Africa is a way of us establishing our control over them.... You have to put these things into context

Something about that project just doesnt sit right with me and I dont know why. Just never warmed up to it.

Christian undertones are still enough to put me off.

I wrote to TWLOHA a while back, explaining RYL and everything it does for people, and they wrote back and said they thought it was a wonderful community and that everyone on it is a special individual, and that we should all be proud of ourselves and RYL, for coming as far as we have, and being the people we are today.

I met Jamie Tworkowski and to be honest he was a bit of an idiot.
My cousin went on tour with him and she said he's really moody and stuff... I do like the story though :)

I so joining just so i can stalk Pembeee! lmao. :)

I hate TWLOHA.

Christian undertones is still christian, although that's not why I hate them.

I looked at the website today and I didn't quite get it but I may go back in a few days and see if it settles in my brain! x

That seems like a pretty evasive way of not answering the question.

TWLOHA is still very much a Christian organisation, it's teaching people to open up to Jesus to save themselves, to be perfectly frank. I wouldn't ever join or recommend anyone else to join either. Perfectly good help available without the brainwash extra :)

It seems to have good goals, just a not-so-good way of reaching them. Religion of any kind, not just Christianity, should not be pushed on anyone.. I think it would be much more popular without the religious undertones. Those are quite a turn-off. x.x
