In a short message: Dad found out about tattoo. Hasn't kicked me out yet, but hasn't said anything after initially finding out and he ****ing terrifies me. He's put me on a diet and stuff, told me he'd rather have a thin daughter that hates him than a fat one who loves him.
Something I was looking really forward to has ****ed up and just **** it all.

If I don't lose a stone by August, my father's going to stop helping me out with money at Uni, and stop my Mum from doing that too.

The fact that I want to lose weight FOR ME SO THAT I FEEL BETTER doesn't matter, apparently. Apparently all my mental health issues are because I'm overweight. Apparently my headaches are too. Basically, everything wrong with me is because of that.

It'll be easy enough to do. I've done it before.

Why not do it healthily by getting some advice from your GP?

I have to agree with the Penguin. Your father has absolutely no right to make you do anything you don't want to do and even less right to make you feel the way he is with his demands. They should be proud of you for taking steps to sort out your M.H with taking time of uni etc and not criticising you. We are proud of you even if they aren't. Please try and keep safe xxx

I do understand the "fat is causing all your problems". You want to lose the weight for you. do that? all your parents will see is that you're losing it. Let them wallow in their stupid f8cking arrogance and do it for yourself. I'm sorry it's so hard. I wish I could wave my magic wand and make it all better for you but it's broken at the moment :(
