I am going to fail History tomorrow
3 hours on 100 years of British, German and Russian history tomorrow morning.
I've revised absolutely shitloads but it's become very apparent tonight that I don't know it, I can't remember anything I've revised... and I'm so tired and in a really crappy place at the moment, and I'm trying to cram but nothing is going in - I can read a section, then within 2 minutes I've completely forgotten it again. Please don't say "ah you'll be fine" because I won't, I know I won't. ****. Don't even know why I'm posting it really. Any tips on how to suddenly become a wonderful historian? |
Sorry I have no tips. I finished those History modules last year and I felt exactly the same. I don't know if you'll be fine or not but when you open the paper it won't be as bad as you're expecting. The worst part about exams is waiting for them. One of my best friends is sitting those exams and also maths tomorrow and he too is shitting himself that he knows nothing etc.
As hard as it seems to believe you probably know more than you realise and when it comes to the exam you will find it comes to you. Read through it again and then try to get some sleep cos turning up to the exam tomorrow knackered really won't help. Oh and before you go into the exam read through the answers to past questions- I find that really helps me. Good Luck! Sorry I cant be more help but try to be positive about it cos that will make a difference too. *hugs* |
That's how I felt on some of my exams. But on some of those I suprised by myself on how much I truely did remember. So hopefully it will be the same way with out. If not, it is just an exam. Besides that, I don't have any tips on being a wonderful historian, because I am not. Good luck though. Wish I could help more.

that's a good question... I want to become a wonderful historian too.
At any rate, there's no reason to drive yourself sick over exams. They can always be re-taken. And who knows, you might surprise yourself. Chin up, there are far worse things than failing an exam. *hugs* |
Hello.
This wasn't quite as apocalyptically bad as expected. Two papers, two questions on each. On both, one was a piece of cake, the other was an absolute nightmare. Mixed, but not terrible. |
aw im glad it went better than you expected
|
see?
maybe it wasn't a piece of cake, and that you actually have managed to do well because of your capacities. |
