Is this normal?[triggers suicide]
I've been thinking about suicide every hour for the past few weeks but I've also had the idea about suiciding since I was 13 years old (now I'm 17). I have never been diagnosed with anything however like depression or borderline disorder (my parents think I'm a normal person with normal thoughts...)I even wrote my suicide note today...
Do you think I have something? I think most normal people don't have suicidal thoughts al the time in their head..:doze: Thanks in advance. |
hey I think it would be best if you went to you doctor, they could send you to someone for an evaluation or something, then you could get help that you need good luck

Oh thank you :)
I have seen a psycologist twice but she hasn't noticed anything I guess neither I have done tests. *hugs* |
Have you been totally honest when you've seen a psycologist?
Suicidal thoughts aren't very nice, and maybe it'd be an idea to write down what you are thinking, how often you have these thoughts, and let your GP know? For a long time I hid how low I was, because I was scared that I'd be locked up. I'm glad that I'm now honest about my thoughts/urges, it means I can get the right help. I agree with what you said, 'normal' people don't think about suicide often. Was talking to my boyfriend about it today. I met him for lunch, and I waited for him on the bridge. He said it was odd that I was on the bridge as I'm scared of heights. He asked what I was thinking, and I told him. He said that the thought of jumping has never once occured to him. It doesn't make us crazy or bad though, just in need of a little help. |
You need to tell someone about your suicidal thoughts. In all honesty, "normal" people don't think about killing themselves every day... I was talking to a friend about this the other day. I told her that whenever things go wrong my automatic thought process is to think about what the best way to kill myself would be... she said that when things go wrong for her, she thinks about how she could solve her problems (and I'd say she's reasonably normal lol).
But don't worry cos you're not the only one who thinks that. If I'm being honest I can probably say that I've thought about suicide every single day (at least once) for the last four years... I can relate to how you feel, as I'm sure many others can. I hope you manage to get the help you need. If you ever want to talk just PM me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can *hug* x |
As quatia suggested, it might be a good idea to write down all the thoughts and feelings you are having and then taking them to your GP who could refer you for another assessmnt because it sounds as though things are really bad at the moment and you deserve to have some help.
If you are feeling unsafe or like you will try to go through with any of your plans, please PLEASE get yourself to A&E or to somewhere where you feel more safe, like with a friend, and remember i am always here if you want to talk xx |
