Self help/ Work books for dissociative disorder

Heya,

I've tried amazon, google, searching RYL, mind, and amillion other places but all the dissociative disorder books seem to be around DID, which I may have traits of, but I'm pretty sure I don't have, or they're centred around sexual abuse, which I've not properly been through and I've been diagnosed with dissociative disorder and I want to do something practical about it (I'm in twice a week psychotherapy, medication yada yada) and I just felt I would feel better if I got a workbook I could try and look at.

Has anyone read anything that might help?

Thanks,
Fallen Rain

The only work book i have ever seen related to anything 'mental health' is one on recovering from depression. Its an american thing but available on the uk amazon site - personally i think its a pile of *****. Tells you to seek help on every page lol.
Sorry, no idea about dissociative disorder ones....

I don't know of any, sorry.

Although it's not a workbook, "The PTSD Sourcebook" is good. There's a workbook in the same series, apparantly, which is good I've heard.

Fallen Rain,

There are several books about dissociative disorders like depersonalization disorder on Amazon.com. One of them looks like a promising self help book, not workbook, you may want to try. I just used the search word "dissociative".

Good luck!
