Right now all I can think about is cutting or scratching or burning - basically doing anything to hurt myself.

therthoughts are so strong
help
I haven't SIed in so long i don't want to ruin it now.

*hugs* do you know why you're feeling like this? has something triggered you? i know its hard not to act on the thoughts but you can get passed this. SI-ing wont make you feel better in the long run. probably not even in the short run. if you cut or something, after you stop you'd most likely end up feeling really bad about doing it. keep fighting the urges.

Hi there *Cuddles you* Im really sorry to hear that your having strong urges. Could you talk to us about what it is thats caused you to have these urges? Do you know whats caused it? Has something triggered you? Do you have any support at all? Like a counsellor? Please dont hurt yourself. It will only make things worse and could lead to other problems. As Sophie said try to keep yourself distracted as much as you can. Please dont think that you have to go through this alone we are all here for you. Please dont give up keep fighting through this.

I know its not easy but you can get through this. I believe in you and i believe that you can get through this. What techniques have you used in the past to help you? Perhaps you could try and use the techniques you have used in the past to help you. You could also try going for a walk, listening to music, or doing jobs to keep yourself occupied. Please take it easy. The best thing to do if you feel yourself getting worked up is to take a step back from everything for a moment and take lots of deep breaths. Please keep talking to us.

Hiya,

Well done on getting through the urges!! *huge huge cuddles* Every time you get through an urge to SI and you don't is a massive victory - so reward yourself with something nice :) You're doing brilliantly, you should be proud of yourself! Take care and stay strong :)
