a few "anyone else?" things...

So for the last few days, my stomach and lower stomach (where girly cramps usually are) have been hurting and sore... and just tight, like they were cramps... does anyone else get that? I know it's not that time of the month, so thats now what it is for me at least.
Also... tummy "popping"... instead of growling... my stomach growls for awhile but then its the same kind of noise except its not that low long note, its just like... short / quick 'notes'... I hope that makes sense. It kinda scared me at first... again, anyone else get that?
Also... my muscles are realllllly sore.. I can barely fully extend my arms. I work at a barn, so my arms get used a lot and this only really happened after last time I worked... but I've NEVER been sore before... Tired, not sore. Do ED's mess up muscle stuff too?
Sorry, a little lost with myself... just need a few answers if anyone has them.
Thanks :notsure:

Amanda

Hey,
I get stomach cramps usually at night after not eating almost anything. I get bruises easily, but wouldn't know about the sore muscles.

Sorry that wasn't much helpful.

Take care *hugs*
Laura.

Ok, as for the girly hurt, it may be that you have pulled yourself when you have been lifting something - or just moved wrong. (Sits up can also cause this).

The tummy popping, my tummy makes loads of strange noises.

As for the muscle soreness, yeap, ED's do mess up your muscles.
Especially if you are loosing weight, because when you get to a certain point you can lose no more fat - so you begin to lose muscle.

Hey, just to add to what others have already said, to say that you're not alone and I can relate to a lot of what you say. The noises that come from my stomach are strange! I can relate to the popping, or at least something that I describe as popping.

Could you have a warm bath or something to relax and even rest your muscles? It's important you look after yourself as much as you can love x

As for purging and coughing and your whole body hurt - that will be do to with muscles. Purging will make you very, very sore and will make your body ache - especially your tummy muscles and the muscles in your throat and chest.

As for your weight, I don't know your height, but whether your BMI is healthy or unhealthy or whatever - you're eating behaviours are not.

You need to get some help for what you are going through sweetie, because you can't keep going on like this - you are going to seriously damage your body. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

That happens to me too... I don't know what causes it, and it does kinda freak me out at times. So, you are definitely not alone. (((hugs)))

you have an awesome name btw!!! *giggles* :-p

My BMI is barely healthy... I'm 5'5"... last I checked, my BMI was around 19.
My boyfriend got mad at me today... he said I need to eat atleast two handfuls of food for every meal or he's gonna get even more upset. He thinks I'm obsessed with weight.

I think he's right.

This is the best thing anyone could say to you. Help is always available when you're ready for it.

Take care of yourself sweetie - and I think that your boyfriend is right too. Your eating behaviours and thoughts aren't healthy - and that is what shows that the problem is there sweetie. x

I talked to my therapist about it yesterday for a few minutes (not till the end, cuz I didn't have the courage to do it initally)

The following content has been hidden - Reason : numbers / bmi

I'm down to about 113 (I don't know for sure, the only scale is in my mom's bathroom and she's takin a shower... yesterday I was 113.6 before working at my barn and training my horse), standing at 5'5"... i think that puts my BMI to just under 19

My therapist says that she thinks I'm developing an eating disorder... not really one or the other, because I have tendencies of both anorexia and bulimia. Great, so even within my problems, I'm screwed up. :crying:

I have another question for people but I don't know if its considered tip sharing so I'm gonna PM a mod and if I find out I can post it here, it'll be here later today.

Thanks for your support guys... I really need it.

*hugs*
You should be really proud you told your therapist.
