I feel horrible asking....
 

....BUT....HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our new landlord is 'coming by' to collect the rent..its late, obviously. Because my benefits decided to change the day they deposit my cheque, with no notice.Thank you very much.

NEVER, in allll our years renting, has a landlord EVER 'come by to chk things out".

I know its because of grow-ops, i KNOW that. The new laws that they enforce HEAVILY; the landlord is responsible for every tiny bit of damage. But im a freaking basket case. Its a new person, looking over our house....a stranger who has the power to tell us we have no home anymore...

Oh god...im just so very frightened.

And the worst is, i have no idea what time; hubby is to call when he gets home. Then he will come.

Oh god...please, we keep a nice house, we're good ppl, we dont grow, sell, use drugs....

I'm so very scared, this is MY sanctuary, my place of SAFETY....and it's being invaded...

Oh **** oh **** oh ****....

any support, any good wishes to send ANY thing...I NEED them.

romp its not because you're doing anything wrong or anything. i'm quite surprised u've never had this before - whenever we have rented it's the law of landlords to come and inspect the property as least every 6 months. it doesn't mean anything personal, its just how it goes. it won't really be like an invasion, they'll just have a quick whiz round with your husband probably and check you haven't exploded anything or knocked big holes in the walls :p

it will be fine sweetie don't worry. and just explain youre sorry bout the rent being late but you're doing your best.

My landlord used to come round all the time and just checked things and it was fine
I'm sure they just want to check the property especially if its a new landlord

oh hun, its ok, landlords checking is a normal thing. its not because your bad or because they think your doing something bad. its just the way the landlord being works! sorry you are stressing about it. it will be ok.

Maybe think of it this way, that your new landlord is visiting to make sure that everything is in good condition and safe for you.

Was almost done first post and i hit something and it ate it..so lucky for you guys; this will br shorter LOL!

I had to take both of my AA's before, but this is only the second [maybe, allll this week :o)]

He saw one cat, paused for a minute, sniffed lOL, and then continued on!!!

He even liked my bathroom :o). THAT made me happy!!
he is a great guy, thjis was the longest I have ever seen/talked with him and it went great! ( Hubby always talks to him as it's hard for me.)
