I would just like to thank everybody for all crossing limbs/digits/hair etc and your prayers for me

Unfortunately I got through both the first and second rounds of interviews but ultimately there was someone better than me (damn them!)

I thought this job had my name on it and was full of hope but Im not going to let this setback get me down, i think my enthusism for the charity helped my application and my intentions to help others who are going through what I have been through hasn't waned ultimately there is a job out there for me and I will find it

remember, just because someone has it NOW, doesnt mean they will KEERP her...maybe her ppl skills wont be as good as hse said, or some such other skill....
all hope is not yoert lost on this onwe.

BUT im especially proud of you for turning a negative into a positive and keeping going...too mnay just quit and then wallow...BUT YOU DIDNT!!!

You sound like you've got a good attitude towards it, so I'm sure it'll happen soon. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you find another job you like soon!

That's exactly what happened to me a little time ago. I got a job interview for something I really wanted to do, and it would get me out of something that I really hated doing. I didn't get that job.

But what I did do was keep looking, and a few weeks after that, another one came along. I applied, got through that, went to a test session, got through that, and then had to go through an interview and a security check. And got through that too.
Now I have the job, and I love it. And I'm doing what i've always wanted to do. I had a few years of doing something else, but I'm doing what I wanted to do when I was a kid, and its great.

Moral is this job wasn't for you. But there will be one along in the future that is for you, you'll get it, and love it. Keep positive Love, it's there for you, and you'll be there in no time.

Found the most ironic job today Attendance Officer at my old college, but being as I was often on the phone to them I think I know the job pretty well (some weeks I only had 14% attendance)
