help asap
hi
sorry for the asap, its isnt urgent as in i will die if i dont get the but really need advice before i go to bed. as some of you may know ive been burning alot, well its on the whole of my wrist which im fine with, bubbled a bit but not painful and no i havent run it under water and yes i no i should but meh!! the reason im posting is cos, the job i do i have to wear a short sleeve tunic, usually i use my watch to cover up wrist scarrage (from cuts) but dont usually have blisters there. as i do now and they range from minutes to days old, should i keep it covered and have to cope the thousand quiestions or can i get away with wearing my watch and covering most of it so people wont notice-or is this really stupid???!?!!?!?!?!?! or has anyone got any better ideas as how i can hide!!!!! why arent wounds invisible to other people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
sweatband? watch and jewellery? watch and a couple of plasters? you can probably get away with just watch and if anyone does notice say you burnt it cooking if its not obviously deliberate.
|
yeh i would normally just wear a thick watch but dont wanna pop blisters and get infection. we cant wear sweat bands-infection control reasons.
its majorly obvious its deliberate, ~2 inches wide and whole way round wrist apart from bout 1cm gap on underside of wrist :s the bandage ive got on at the mo would look like ive slit my wrist and for once i havent done that and dont want it to look like i have |
could you wear your watch but loosely? with plasters underneath?
|
One of the fashion watches with the scarf/ribbon type straps? Tuck in any loose ends to avoid infection probs.

thanks peeps, i think im gonna try sticking melolin to the underside of my watch and then wear that so nice and protected. hopefully noone will see!! x
