Hi Guys,

If you have questions about functions of RYL, post them here as new threads, because they will be useful for the normal members when they come in, as I am sure they will have the same questions.

Hopefully there won't be any problems!

How do you turn off the panic button?

Queen Crabbit 02-04-2007 01:16 PM

And how do I delete that post?!

Ash* 02-04-2007 01:17 PM

Why can I not put a picture in my sig?!!

Paperdreams. 02-04-2007 01:19 PM

Why does it keep subscribing me to threads?

Why are all my avatar files too big?

:]

strong.inside 02-04-2007 01:20 PM

^^^ The subscribing thing is happening to me too? Why? *curious*

Panic Button is switchable if you go to Control Panel, then to Edit Options

Make sure you save changes at the bottom when you update your profile / options

I might well need to adjust image size restrictions for sigs and avatars

I will look into that now

Yeah I see there was a odd setting for new registrants, auto subscribing them to weekly updates. Removed now.

You can unsubscribe and it should be fine now

Harley 02-04-2007 01:27 PM

Very odd, all my testing showed the panic button to be fine - what is wrong with it?

Is there any way to turn off the fact that boards go orange when there are unthread threads?
I don't want to mark the board as read, but I don't want them to be orange either! Haha. =]

Queen Crabbit 02-04-2007 01:31 PM

Can you delete your posts?

Ash* 02-04-2007 01:34 PM

The panic button's not an issue for me,but when I tried it,it says "this page cannot be displayed" although, that'd be alright really, because it's still not this...

If you follow..

Harley 02-04-2007 01:39 PM

When was it saying that? When you clicked on it?

can you view this image?

http://ryl3.echointernet.net/forum/i...anicbutton.gif

Button shows up but when pressed can't find the page...maybe I typed it in wrong, do we need to have http://www.google.com fully say or without, etc. Sorry that's really incoherent

Yeah I suspect that is because you havent put http:// in front of the address.

try typing exactly this in and seeing if it will work (you edit in Control Panel > Edit options)

http://www.google.com
