hey hunni
it is ok. not everyone passes their test strat away, it took some of my friend 5 times to pass it.
its ok.
don't give up. it isn't the end of the world.
u can try again, get more practice in and u will do great.

Awww I'm so sorry you failed *hugs*. It's such a horrible feeling, I know. But please keep at it. It's such a rewarding thing when you do pass I promise. Feel free to PM me if you want to chat :)

learn from the mistakes you made that caused you to fail and get a bit more practice....you have another chance to pass!!!practice makes perfect. dont let yourself get all worked up. honestly failing 3times isnt realt bad!!

Devil Girl 13-06-2007 04:03 PM

Thanks for the replies, its just that my instructor says I am a really good driver, he would have put bets on me passing the last two times...and the things I fail on are completely different and things I never do normaly so it isn't like we can work on them cause it isn't something I normally do wrong! So frustrating!

Loads of people I know have passed their tests and I am beginning to feel so pathetic...I am now the worst in my family aswell...just so upset...

Hey - I know people who have failed five or six times, don't worry about it - quite a few people have to retake their test before they pass anyway. Try not to let yourself get too upset about it, you can always retake it! I bet when I learn to drive, it'll take me years and years to pass. :P Hehe, good luck for the next time, though. The only thing you can do is to keep going, if it's not something you can work on. *Cuddles*.

It could be nerves making you do those things wrong then sweetie.
But more practise should make you less nervous and maybe doing some relaxation before you do you test next time might help.

Please try not to worry about it to much, I know it's money down the drain but, it doesn't make you a faliure or pathetic, your going to get the same results as your friends and family, your just getting to that goal by taking smaller steps.

Stay Safe and Take Care

thanks, just taking soo long for me even though I picked up driving really easily...Just hope I pass the next time...

DrunkenButterfly 13-06-2007 04:54 PM

thats exactly what happened to me, but honestly the practise is good and when your meant t pass itl just fall into place and youl do great. drive lots outside of lessons if you can, that really boosts your confidence and stuff. good luck for next time!

You'll be fine hun, you'll pass! My Mom took ages to pass her test but in the end she passed and she was so chuffed! You'll be fine hun, you'll pass! Trust me you will! *huggles lots and lots*

Pomegranate 13-06-2007 08:03 PM

Hi hun *hugs* I have failed my driving test three times as well so far and got the fourth one soon. Lots of people I know have taken longer than three to pass! One girl I went to school with took 11 tests! It doesn't mean you can't drive. I don't see how anyone's competency can be tested in a 35 minute session.

Good Luck next time! x

Hey.
don't worry about it, you'll get there. I didn't pass until my 5th time.
I know it can be upsetting, but really tests are silly and they fail you on the stupidest things.
Plus the best drivers never pass first time :P
Best of luck on your next one

is it sunshine yet 21-08-2010 11:05 PM

well i just failed my driving test twice too,it makes me heartbroken, but despite every failure keep up that hope, sumtimes things happens for a reason, maybe in this case tht will make us much better drivers than before.
but when i failed i cudnt think properly,i just wanted to get a license, and now in five days my permit will expire,i feel like crap too at the moment.i am certain my third attempt might as well be a failed one,but i will try my best not to let go of this vague hope i hold in my heart, sumhow i am all gloomy and sad and embarrased that i failed twice.its hard to convince myself to practice again and sit at the wheel.
i feel why most ppl i know made it in their first attempts and i didnot?:crying:

The statistics say that the people who fail several driving tests are better and safer drivers when they do pass :-)

^^ Just thinking the same thing..

How nervous were you during the test? Nerves makes your driving terrible. I'm a fantastic driver, but if I'm nervous, I drive like a moron. I passed on my first try, but almost didn't because I was nervous and panicky.

What I recommend is practice. Start practicing in comfortable areas, and then move on to your challenging spots.

Also, did you test in a city DMV? More rural area tend to be more lax with their grading. The one I went to would give a license to a chimp. Had I gone to the city DMV, I probably would have failed.
