Wavy thumb nails...I know, it's weird :p
 

So my thumb nails have actual waves in them. They aren't smooth and I constantly have to file them down. It's very agrivating. I was wondering if anyone else had this kind of thing going on and if you knew any other way to keep your nails smooth. The wave thing freaks people out and I'm really self conscious about them. Any advice? Thanks!!

I don't have this problem and I've never heard of it before, maybve you should see somebody about it. i dunno what else you could do. Does it happen on your other nails? x x x

My finger and toe nails do that too. My thumb nails also grow leaning to the side. Unfortunately, I can't offer any advice but to file them, although it's definitely not as weird as you think. :-)

My big toe nails do it, I think its pretty normal. I wouldnt be supprised if it was something like a vitamin deficiency, if it bothers you its always worth checking with the doctor though!

Are they wavy going with the nail, or across the nail? There are some nutritional deficiencies and such that can cause your nails to grow funny. It also might be perfectly normal.

Yeah, mine grow in ridges, which is odd, like verticle ridges lol. Mind you then again my little toes are entirely rotated so that the nail faces out soo im just weird lol
