Fading slowly into the oblivion of tomorrow
Remembering that which has been forgotten
She is no longer drenched in blood and tears
But pained with guilt and un acceptance

Shiny silver lines of ignominy envelop her limbs
Mocking the reviled veins beneath with words of ascendancy
Her sullen skin craves liberation form it’s disfiguring marks of insanity
This plea for an unmarked present is silenced and branded with her past

She opens her eyes and sees her past staring back through her arm
She has become the eye of indecency that plagues those who challenge her gaze.
She exists in a world where escape is unattainable and pain is unavoidable
She holds her scars firmly her arms as the wind enfolds her and into forever she fades.
