I'm being kicked out of my house on Saturday
My mother just told me. I'm staying with my best friend on Saturday but I'm going to need to find a place to stay, because I can't stay there forever. My mother told me I could go stay with my biological father (who I never talk to) but to stay with him means getting hit all the time again, having to go through sexual abuse, drugs, alcohol and all of that nifty stuff; so that isn't exactly looking too great.
If you know of any place I can call, like a teen shelter, that's all over the nation (America) or in Oregon that'd be wonderful. I don't know what to do. I don't know where to go. dslrghlkjghlfsdgjm, gndfjz |

I've tried google but I'm not having much luck. I'm not sure exactly what to type in asa search to give me thes most.
Thanks for the list, but there isn't one in my state. One is only like three horus away though so that may work. As for school no, I'm still in high school so we don't have dorms or anything. :\ I suppose I'll jsut keep looking around, thanks for the help. :] |
Dude that is so not cool.
Um, can you speak to friends parents? Do you have a job and know a friend who has a spare room? If so you could maybe arrange to stay in their spare room and pay as much rent as you can afford. Also, don't know about US stuff cos I'm from UK, but isn't there some support for young people who are kicked out of home? Like Social Services? Sorry if that's not helped. Take care. xxxxx |
ive found these:
Albany Helping Hands is located at 615 9th Ave. SE in Albany, Oregon. We are a homeless shelter and are sponsored by the contributions of churches, individuals, and businesses located in and around the Albany area. In addition to providing food, shelter, and clothing, we also attempt to assist with counseling, housing search, finding adequate mental health, and provide furniture for needy families in our local area. P O. Box 2252 Albany, OR 97321 (541) 926-4036 http://www.ohcs.oregon.gov/OHCS/CSS_...gency_Shelter_ ^^ this link is good too. theres loads of places to phone. and also this page too: http://www.hud.gov/local/index.cfm?s...topic=homeless |
I don't know how old you are and it isn't always the best thing but how about social services?
I'm in UK and have been in care and it helped me so much. They helped me get on once able to get own place. Like I said it not always a thing ppl like or want to do but it the only thing I can think of as I'm not in USA. Are you at school? Is there a councellor who can help if you say ya father isn't an option etc. I am sending you hope wishes and huggles. |
sorry im in the uk and dont really know anything about the US system.
What i will say is i hope it works out hun. Pls try and stay safe |
Call child protective services or social services. If you are still in high school then you are presumably under 18. If your mom has legal custody of you, she can't just kick you out on the street.

Thak you all, I was wondering if she was even allowed to do that since I'm not 18, but I suppose she isn't.
If things get bad during the summer though I called Alyssa(she was on v2, but hasn't joined v3 yet because she doesn't have internet) and she said I could stay at her house for the summer. Thanks for all of the options. :] |
Legally in the US she can't do that becuase you are not 18. I think your best and safest bet before trying a shelter (which would prolly call child protective services anyway) is to call them yourselves and see what options you have through them.
