Thought I'd post some of my poems here some happy some sad some triggering some not..just my thoughts in words...

Clarification


Amply clarify simplify
Illumination revelation
Elucidations all come to mind
When explaining my life
In the simplest of times
Difficult complex intricate at best
Not easy a little hard challenging tricky
As you look at me pleading searching
For some understanding demanding
Knowledge of the tiring truth
Tedious heavy strenuous no rest
Wearing exhausting laborious a test
It’s tough arduous grueling ordeal.
Explaining not complaining, justifying
Supplying providing satisfying
Your uneasiness nervousness
Apprehension of me……..
Your misgivings to help you see
Your anxiety fears dismay alarm
Is nothing that is going to give you harm
Unpleasant nasty awful for you
To hear all that I’m bringing blatantly true

Ice Cold

as cold as ice
her heart can be
calling you down
never letting you see
her true inside
only the out
for hidden inside
her icy caves
her fears her love
her aches doth lay
as cold as ice
she wants to be
keeping you at bay
afraid dismayed
in a state of confusion
as cold as ice
her heart can be
do you have what
it takes to make her see.

Gated Shut




I'm not good at expression
words aren't always there
to say what i'm thinking would
be unfair to those around
me who probably don't care
to let out these thoughts
unleash the hate would go
to the wrong people so i
keep them behind gates
locked up away so noone
can see or hear the pain
that i hold so dear,
I've lost the key can't find
it you see gates tight-shut
wont budge you can believe
i've locked it away to keep
you safe but know beware
nothing can compare to what
hides behind these closed doors
my heart is not there darkness
and death blackness surrounded
soul with no rest.

Wow, these are intense. 'Gated Shut' brough tears to my eye. It really spoke to me.
