I'd suggest you go through your wardrobe and find a back up outfit for just in case you can't find anything half decent in the shops in the morning - there's no point stressing over it.

Do your research about the company and think of a few questions you can ask them to make you seem interested. Even if it's questions you already know the answer to (as long as it's not really obvious or they'll wonder why you haven't found out for yourself), it's good to look keen. If you're stuck for ideas, just try anything like "how many people would be in the office I'd be working in".

SMILE!! Be as confident as you can without seeming cocky.

If they know you haven't worked in two years, be prepared for them to ask and have an answer prepared ; say it in a "I was ill due to personal issues but am ready and excited at the prospect of starting a new career a fresh" type thing, if possible. Unless you've already told them/made some sort of excuse, obviously.

Bring your CV/record of achievement if you have one. Even if they don't look through it, it's good to look as though you're all well prepared.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine :). xx

I take my NRA with me to all interviews, its got all my GCSE, A LEVEL, NVQ and city & guilds certificates in so if they need copies they have them.
I will say I wasnt working due to moving out and wanting to go back to college to study something different as I wanted to work in a specific field I enjoy.

The interview is today at 4pm I just got back from shopping I got a beautiful black with white flowers skirt, little black shows, tan tights and a black long sleeved cardigan shirt from monsoon (very pricey!).
I will straighten my hair and TRY to cover up my eye baggys with makeup and hopefully fingers crossed I'll get the job!

I found the road for my job interview and had to walk down the road a long way I got to number 75 and there were 3 builders outside painting fences and doing builder things and as I walked past they wolf whistled at me!!!
THEN I had to bloody walk back past them to find the annex where the company was! They gave me directions but didn't say anything about the wolf whistling! Ha!
I got in and I think the interview went well he has to interview 3 more people I REALLY want this job *sobs* its close enough and exactly what I want to do and I can get promoted and increase the work load so its what I want to do in the place I want to do it!
As I walked back from Southend East station there were kids and one said
"Pretty lady with red hair, with her national record of achievement she must have done well… Did she do well?"
I just turned round and said
"I did my GCSE's about 7 years ago!"
So two very unflattering compliments today lol!
