If its really deep you may need stitches sweetie... A&E maybe?

Hey
If its deep enough to put your finger in it the safest option would probably be to go to a doctor to get stitches. Is there an after hours place or hospital near you?
I dont really kno what else you could do you should probably put something clean on it and bandage it up to try and stop it bleeding, but seeing a doctor would probably be the best option.
im sorry i havent been much help

theres the hospital, but theres no way i can go coz i would have to tell my parents, would it be to late if i went to my GP tomorrow?
ive bandaged it for now.

PLEASE get to a hospital
you could loose the feeling in your arm/wherever you cut.
your paretns wont be mad, just worried.
let us know what happens <3

pixie*lyssie 26-02-2008 02:47 PM

Hey hun, you really need to get to a hospital, they will only probably stitch it within a certain amount of hours. *hugs lots*

hun, i dont normally advocate lying, but please, go to the hospital and LIE. tell them you are 18 and make up details, it works ok? just...please get that cut sorted, it could get so nasty it's unreal. I mean the best option would be to go to hospital and let them tell your parents but if you can't we need a way for you to get medical attention. And lying happens to be it.

jjdsplace 26-02-2008 09:33 PM

if you cant get to the hopital check your local heath centre some have a mini surgery like thing and you age wont make a difference but you need it sorting that fatty stuff is fat and if thats coming out its bad i have had this happen badages wont sort it. if you cant speak with your parents try an aunt or uncle you may find the more suportive that you think.

Nicholas 26-02-2008 09:47 PM

Definatley try and get to a doctor asap.

Hollz 26-02-2008 11:35 PM

Hope you are okay, and managed to get it sorted. Let us know how you got on.

Sounds like this wound needs treatment.
Stitches are prefarble witing 8 hours of making the wound, sometimes hospitals will allow up to 12 hours. Perhaps tell your parents that you are going to see a friend or something.
Either way, get the wound checked out as soon as you can.

Take care
Kim

Hey guys, so i went to my gp today and he gave my stitches, but it kept bleeding when he was doing it, and its still really bloody and REALLY sore. He was gonna give me anti-biotics but they clash with my meds
so im going back in 3 days to make sure it doesnt get infected, but it seriously hurts.
Thanks everyone for the continued support :)

Glad u got it sorted but don't forget to get a tetanus shot if you haven't already, you might be out of date and that would be bad.

I once got knifed on my hand and got a cut like that. You might need stitches, but butterfly bandages and good cleaning should keep it safe.
