A Beautiful Winter Day
 

Snow
Cold and beautiful
Brings joy to people
White flakes
Land on the child's nose
Face glowing
Happiness radiates within
The young couple
Fingers laced
Entwined in a loving kiss
As the glittering flakes
Gently fall around them
A day they will remember
For the rest of their lives
Years have passed
Still together
They walk
Hand-in-hand
As if
They were young again
Snow begins to fall
Ever so lightly
He turns to her
Gazes in her eyes
Glittering flakes
Cascading around them
He speaks
Using gentle words
This day is beautiful
He pecks her on the cheek
Though not as beautiful
As you
Her face glows
So radiantly
They embrace
Holding on
To such
A beautiful moment
He takes her hand
Laces his fingers
To hers
Walking down
The winter path
Snow falling
A day they will remember
For the rest of their lives
