when i first discovered RLY last year i was in a really bad place.
it helped me lots and the people were great.
i finally got "better" and didnt visit RYL for months.
then when i got the e-mail about a new version i signed up again,
but now im findin myself feeling like a want to cut.
i really was past all that, but its making me feel like i need to do it.
i want to be here, i want to help other peole the way that they helped me but its making me have urges to cut!
i think because people talk about how it makes them feel, which id forgotten about.
i think i can resist, but part of me deosnt want to.

i dont really know what my question is, but yeah?

perhpaps if you try to help and offer support or advice in general threads rather than thread thats have triggering info in them.it means you are still helping people but helping yourself by not being triggered.

i hope u understand what i am saying there...im not a good explainer.

I think they best way would be to stay away from threads that are labelled as triggering, that way you can still help people but you won't get triggered. Or even stay away from the SI forum.

I agree. Just avoid any triggering and serious discussion threads. You can help in this section or any of the other not so serious threads. That way you are helping people and staying safe yourself. Keep yourself "better" that is most important. Let me know if you want to talk.
