Does Valentines Day Make You Lonely?
 

I suppose this probably only applies to those of us that are single :-P. I have this urge to put up anti valentines day decorations at work because all the comercials and decorations just remind me I don't have someone special -_-. I think I'll resist the urge though and keep my negativity to myself. Just wondered if others felt the same way.

Not really, well, not any more than other days do.

I just think it's a bit of a stupid day. *Shrugs*

How did they get 'let's celebrate relationships' out of someone being killed?

bar last year where all I was thinking about was getting admitted to the unti the next day so I wasn't really bothered

I'm totally Anti-Valentines Day. But it doesn't make me feel particularly lonely. Lovey dovey couples in general do that, or like...just make you want to vomit all over them ^_^ Why must people publicly display their affections?!

Right see, I'm in a lovely relationship but I HATE Valentines days and have been preaching about it forever.

So I'm getting my guy an Anti Valentines present.
It's a massive heart shaped cookie saying "F-CK Valentines. You C-NT"

Seriously man, what's the point in it?! Romance is about surprise and what's surprising about VDay?

It's just a chance for big companies ot make money.

I hope I get an anti valentine card from a friend...would be funny...actually...do you think I should get anti valentines for my friends at work? I thought it would be negative but maybe people would find them funny if they were light hearted.

Valentines day makes me drunk.

anti valentines cards between single friends are fun had a few of them other years, but whatever you do don't send them to someone that's interested that's just rubbing it in (am half expecting one of these)

but anyway if that doesn't arrive it'll just be another day to get through to get to the weekend

but now, it's even getting to children at 4. no lie.
A little boy, in my room at nursery had made a valentines card with his mum for one of the little girls, all happy happy, until another little girl got upset because this little boy didn't love her and he wasn't her boyfriend. twas rather amusing really. but yes.

It's just a day?
I don't see why a day is needed for someone to tell you they love you.

Yup.

when i had a girlfriend i liked valentines day. but since we broke up the very thought of it makes me feel down. it's like couples are slapping you in the face with their togetherness.
i'd love some of those anti-valentines decorations myself.

i hate it :( its just a day thats designed to rub my face in the fact that ive een alone all my life and will be till the day i die. :(
