I'm going to wear short sleeves tomorrow. I'm feeling brave NOW but we'll see what happens at 6:30 when I get ready to leave. Last time, I changed right before I left because I chickened out. I have to be prepared for comments and questions. I'm going to just go with "it's a long story." And when someone says "don't tell me you cut yourself," I'm going to play stupid and be like "what the hell?" We'll see. This may be a one day thing. haha. Wish me luck, I'm scared!

To be honest I would have freaked out :(

Yeah, I did it. No one really said anything. I crossed my arms A LOT though. Even when I was talking to my director who knows. It was weird but I have to get used to it. I'm trying really hard not to anymore so maybe my scars will fade. Mostly they are flat, red ones but I have a few white raised ones but those could easily be blamed on a barbed wire fence. I have a horse. We'll see...

I didn't think anyone really would but a few months back I had 3/4 sleeves on and I was making a copy at the copy machine and this lady was like "you have a boo boo." (it was a scar that could have been anything) Then was like "are you cutting yourself?" half joking half serious. I just ignored her and left. I was pissed though.

Im so glad that you found the courage within. Good for you that you were brave enough to be true to yourself.
