background: on 21st of march we are gonna see the long blondes in sunderland... however the return train .. involves a 4hour wait in newcastle for 4 hours.. so we thought we would exeperince the nightlife!!

Any good places to go on a friday night?

pretty much anywhere lol. depends what sort of time your looking for, if you stay around the station its a bit more expensive although the union rooms (wetherspoons) is pretty good as a starting point. also there's a pretty ok pub attached to the station hotel. or there is revolution which is good for flavoured shots. they're yummy.

If you want posh then head down the quayside which is more expensive but generally nicer pubs. the quayside bar is nice down there.

the bigg market (just up from revolution) has loads of cheaper pubs with some dancy sort of places, blu bambu is there.

the gate is further away still but is all indoors so good if its raining it also has loads of food places too and a club

then there is haymarket which is miles from the station and probably not worth the journey

why do you have to go to newcaslte to get back to middlesborough, the train goes from sunderland to middlesborough direct

some trains do yeah
but i don't think that service runs late.

cos the train leaves sunderland at 23:56 .. and it goes to newcastle then northaliton..
