Could I have some hugs and support please?
 

I am seeing a new psychiatrist on wednesday and it'll be my second one as I have been transfered to adult services from Camhs. I am nervous as I really trusted my old psych he was nice to me and understood me and helped me. I am anxious about seeing the new one, my CPN said she met with him and he seemed really nice. I'm hoping he helps me as much as my last one did. OMG I guess I shouldn't compare as it's not good to and they are different types of psychs. Could I have hugs please and maybe some reasurance.?

About 10 months ago, my psychaitrist reduced her hours to meds only. Before she did, she made sure I had a growing relationship with a new one.
My new psychaitrist has given me some incredible challenges, assignments, and opportunities for growth.
This can be an opportunity to continue to work and grow. Go in knowing that the people who made this decision for you have your best interests in mind.

Hi hun, *hugs you gently* It is perfectly normal to be nervous and to compare especially when you got on so well with your old psych. I am sure he will be lovely, remember they are there to help you, not to judge you.

I'm seeing him tomorrow, gettig anxious about it but kind of looking forward to having someone ta talk to about it and who can help me and suss out wht the problem is and give me meds and therapy to help me.
