antidepressants and weight gain
hey everyone
i have been taking avanza and lovan for the past 5 months and i keep putting on weight. im not doing anything different, if anything im eating more heathily and exercising more! i think the antidepressants are helping but im just going to get really unhappy again if i stay at this weight or put on more weight...any advice would be much appreciated:) thanks, katherine |
Could be that you're putting on muscle which is a lot heavier than fat with the exercising. Either way you're going to be healthier physically and mentally, even if your primary goal is fat loss.

Hey hun
If this really bothers you I would suggest you talk to your doctor about this. As there are plenty of other anti-dresspents out there and your doctor may be able to prescribe you something else. Hope it works out for you and i'm here if you ever wanna talk. Take care of yourself hugs kat |
The best thing to do would be to speak to your doctor. They might be able to adjust the dose, or else prescribe something something that would not make you gain weight.
