something that made me happy today
I woke up and got out of bed earlier than I would've like because I had to go get some work done at one of my co-editor's house for our school's yearbook, but from the moment I woke up I was just being yelled at by my mom because she was cleaning and everytime she cleans she ends up in a really bad mood and I ended up leaving over half an hour later than I should have because I was just being yelled and and told how awful I was and eventually I got out of the house and it was pouring rain and I was just walking down my street trying not to cry and I get to the bus stop soaking wet and this woman at the bus stop comes and stands over me with her umbrella and it was just such a kind gesture after such a shitty morning that it just warmed my heart a little. And then I rung the bell to get off the bus too early and a woman noticed and called out to the bus driver for me, and I dunno, seemed almost like some sort of karma related thing.

Some things are just amazing aren't they.

Sometime it can just be the smallest things in a day that can cheer you up a bit, I'm pleased that someone managed to help you feel better after having a bit of a bad morning

I love random happy things like that =)

Thats awesome.
More things like that should happen |
sometimes it really is the smaller things that make the most difference.
i went out of my scooter to meet a friend in morrisons and borrowed a wheelchair there. everyone was so helpful which meant i had a great morning out. they came out of the health food shop to serve me as well as the scooter is too big to fit in there. |
ah, there are some nice people left in the world then.

I love it when people do something so spontaneous like that.
People can be a mystery and rarely very pleasant, so i changes everything when a stranger makes such a small gesture. Next to my local college is a huge asda (Clothes and food store for those of you not familiar will Wallmart or Asda). So when its raining i go and stand outside (because i LOVE the rain) and usually end up helping people carry their shopping to their cars under the shelter of my umbrella. Its my secret passion and i like to think that they went home smiling. |

I once had a woman nearly cry when I found a belt for her at work. she needed it in a small/medium and she could only find a medium/large and she was really upset as she said she needed it for a dinner tonight. anyways 2 minutes later I find a S/M whilst tdying up and though I would just check to see if I could find her. I found her just as she was about to get served in the queue and she was close to tears just because I found her a belt!
