Im frustrated
 

So.... I haven't been around RYL in a little while, lots of stuff going on...moving (which I hate) and other things. So I come on today, and EVERYTHING is changed. Harley you did a WONDERFUL job, but I have to rant about this.

I hate change, and now, RYL doesn't feel the same, this is the 2nd time RYL has completely changed, and it is just frustrating trying to find my way around again, having to make a new log in name, and being completely confused by the whole lay out. I also thought that all of the vets had agreed that keeping everything together would be best, but then I look, and it is seperate. Im so confused, I just needed to get the frustration out about all of it... sorry for the rant.

Welcome, Nicole. It's nice to see you, I'd missed you lots!

About the change; change cna be very disconcerting at first, and god knows that I'm still not comfortable with it - but realistically, RYL 2 couldn't have lasted much longer, it was on its' hypothetical death bed.
It can be very intimidating, there are a lot of areas and extras on here that I don't even go to/use, and I've been here for a month or so now.

Another thing is that right now, it looks horridly clinical - like we're waiting in a doctors or a dentists office. Harley is in the process of getting some new "skins" in, meaning that hopefully, it'll look much less regimented and... unfriendly.

In the meantime, lovely Nicole, remember that we're all in the same boat as you right now. We're all struggling with this change, and while some are coping better than others, it's not RYL right now - it's still RYL v.3. Give it a month or two - remember how hard the changeover from Ruin to Recover was?

I think there is a thread in Vets explaining the changes. Initially it was discussed and the general thought was to keep everything together, but after we got here and actually saw what Harley meant, we realized the idea at least needed to be tried out.

The changes to Vets are not permanent at this time, after another week or two there will be a discussion and the option of combining the vets forum back together will be presented.

I will be glad when I can start getting online more again, as I said there is just a whole lot going on right now, most of which of course is moving, we have been moving for WEEKS and Im getting pretty tired of it lol.

Hey Nic..I know the changes are A LOT to soak up but I assure you it's for the best. We have no many great/new features and an arcade!
I've been here for a couple months already and I'm still trying to adjust. I'm older and slower than you so it takes a bit longer. :p
