Good News
ok, i have finally felt well enough to take my scooter out (for those who dont know, im in a wheelchair and have a mobility scooter). ok, i went to meet a friend in morisons for a coffee which si half an hour from my house.
i drove there fine, spoke to customer services, borrowed a wheelchair and parked to scooter. i then sat in a busy cafe chatting which was good. then i went in the shop as well to get myself some stuff to take home for lunch. then i collected my scooter and left.
And
I stopped at the health food shop on the way home. i cant fit in on the scooter so i waved and someone came out abd brought be what a wanted before taking my money and bringing my change. Then i went home and had a nice healthy lunch of wraps with salad and chunky strips, which i had just bought.
I am so really pleased. a few weeks ago i wouldnt have dared try to do something like this on my own. i am so proud that i managed to do it all. it might seem like a little thing to you but 3 months ago i was totally mute so couldnt say a word to anyone. now i can talk without a problem
So yeah, i just thought i would share my success story
