Right now I am going through a hard time I am currently living with my roommate who is a ex-boyfriend of mine, we were just seeing each other for a while and then we said that we could have an open relationship and now we are now just good friends. Right now he is dating one of my friends and I am okay with that the thing is i just found out I am pregnant and I am getting an abortion this weekend and I dont know if i should tell him or not. I do not want to ruin what he has and I dont want him to be mad at me, or should I tell him after the fact I am just sooo confused and do not know what to do.

is it definitley his baby?
if so, i think you should ought to tell him. he deserves to know. his sperm created the feotus, after all.
if you're intent on having an abortion though, don't let him change your mind.

yeah it is definitely his he was my first and only person i have ever been with. its just that i dont want him to hate me for it (getting pregnant, not having the abortion)

Why on earth would he hate you for it?
It takes 2 to make a baby.
Telling him would provide that extra support which you might need following an abortion.
Do what you need to do.
You can't let him change your mind, but he does have a right to know.

Hey first of all *hugs*. I'm sorry you're going through such a hard time at the mo. I have to say I agree with everyone else. It's probably the best thing to tell him, he's no reason to hate you at all. It won't ruin the relationship he has now, but you shouldn't have to do this alone. You've decided on the best course of action for you, which must have been difficult in the first place, so you deserve some support. He might be a little shocked, but why on earth would he hate you?
I think telling him afterward would be a bad idea. I know it will be hard, but if you're still mates, then he should be there for you. I really hope it works out for you x

It's better that you tell him than him finding out from someone else. It is his baby after all.

Tell him! Any man would want to know, even if he still agrees to abort. I'm sure he will support you thought it.

I think everyone should bear in mind that Ashley has to live with this guy and the potential problems this could cause if/when she tells him. He does have a right to know, but don't feel like you have to tell him if you think it's going to cause problems in his relationship, your friendship or with you being room mates.
