My Grandma
 

Hi, sorry for all the posts at the moment. I just found out my Grandma has breast cancer and they are not going to do anything properly about it because of her age and her parkinsons, all they are doing is giving her hormone tablets to try and shrink it.

She got diagnosed about four months ago and my mother has known all this time and still only visited her once in that time. She is a bitch and I hate her so much right now. She is so selfish and both of my grandparents are really struggling and she can't even be arsed to drive to see them.

I'm sorry, I dont know what I want from this post, I guess I am just so scared. My nan has been more of a parent to me than either my mum or dad and I love her so much. I don't know what I would do without her, we speak two or three times a day. :crying: :crying: :crying:

That iis difficult. And this year will be hard on you.
Perhaps you can start by keeping records of thingsshe says and pictures. Like a scrap book. Cherish each and every moment.
Perhaps even talk to your mum about why she dosnt visit. She might have a reason that you are not aware of.

Hi hun, i'm really sorry about your grandma, I can really sympathise. I lost my Nana (my great grandma) in July, she was 93 and broke her second hip, when they did the scan they found cancer running through her bones. They didn't give her treatment either so I know how hard it is, it just seems totally unfair. If you need to chat my pm box is always open ok?
