So, I'm kind of new here. By "kind of" I mean that I actually made this account a couple of months ago, but this is my first time trying to post something.

My name is "Mea" and I'm 24 years old. I chose this username because it's the initials of my real name. The reason why I've come here to this website is because, like many others, I've been finding myself in yet another difficult time in life and there are a lot of things I'm trying to sort through. It really helps knowing that I'm not alone in these things. I've had a long history of anxiety, depression and self-harm, amongst other things. I used to take medication for my anxiety as a teenager, and I probably still should, but I haven't yet had the courage to take that step towards professional help yet. I've been self-harm free for maybe 4 years now, although I've had slip-ups and major thoughts about it ever since, especially recently.

It seems the older I get the more complicated things become.....

Other than that, some generic things about me are that I'm a college student and I've recently decided to try to get into nursing. I have a husband who I've been married to for 3 months now. I don't have children, but I do have a cat. My favorite color is purple. I enjoy knitting, reading, listening to music, and playing videogames. That's about it.
