Dealing with Feelings

It's been a while since I have harmed myself. A few weeks ago I bruised my knee when I got frustrated. It wasn't exactly like the self harm I had engaged in before, but I felt scared. I will have rages and tantrums and often I would hurt myself during them. I'm still struggling a lot with feeling intensely angry at times and even having homicidal thoughts. This weekend has been challenging as holidays often are. I'm wondering if other people struggle with being intensely angry and how it effects their relationships and activities.

I used to be very angry. What helped was doing the boxing on the wii. I think it's a good idea is to find out what triggers you anger wise. Also a change of medication helped me because the voices were the main part. The new meds helped a lot after trial and error dose wise because the voices were more under control so in turn I felt calmer. I am not saying that applies to you but knowing what was making me angry was a great help.
