Am I autistic?
 

I don't think I am, but I have been very dependent on other people for so many years to help me through life. My parents have got me an appointment to an autistic centre, but I don't know what'll achieve, I'm just fed up with it all, having to go see people, take various meds, being made to eat fruit & veg & give up smoking - I haven't -.

Maybe the autistic centre will be able to make things clearer for you and suggest goals and plans etc that you agree to. I know it can get a bit much having to do lots of things in relation to your health but it might be worth a try. Do you know what it involves and how long the appointment will take?

No, I don't know what it involves, it's on Feb 1st, I'll tell you about it after.

Would it help you to know more about what is going to happen or are you ok with finding out when you get there?

How did the appointment go? I've been thinking of setting one up for myself. I have a good idea the outcome, but it still makes me nervous.
